Leather shag rugs are very durable and will last a long time if maintained properly. One drawback with these rugs is that they can be very expensive and generally cost more than other types of materials.
Wool Shag Rugs
These are great for comfort and durability. Wool shag area rugs are best for low traffic areas since they tend to shed more than other types of materials. Bedrooms, family room and other low traffic places might be good for this type of shag rug.
T Shirt Shag Rugs
These make great additions to kids or teenagers bedrooms. They are produced using recycled t-shirts remnants. T-Shirt shag rugs come in a variety of colors and styles because of the material it is produced from.
